About Credit Union One :

Credit Union One of Oklahoma was established in 1949 to serve employees of several Oklahoma state agencies. Created by and for these employees, our credit union provided an affordable, reliable alternative for financial services. As we grew, we expanded to include partnerships with other organizations and businesses across Oklahoma, allowing more people to access the benefits of credit union membership. In 2003, we became a community-chartered credit union, opening our doors to the broader Oklahoma City metro area. Today, we serve nearly 4,000 members statewide.

Member Experience Manager

Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Job Type: Regular Full-Time
Department: Management

About the Role

As a Member Experience Manager, you’ll play a key role in helping our members manage their finances with confidence. This is a front-line position focused on service, lending, and building strong financial relationships. In addition to the front-line duties, you'll be responsible for general branch operations and be a key contributor in the Credit Union decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent service to members and support the overall branch team
  • Open accounts and process loan applications for secured and unsecured consumer loans
  • Analyze credit history, collateral, and other factors to recommend loan decisions
  • Disburse loans, complete documentation, and follow up on applications
  • Educate members on credit union products and services
  • Handle routine transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and payments
  • Maintain cash drawer accuracy and ensure compliance with policies
  • Ensure branch is operating efficiently and fully staffed, including interviewing applicants

  • Interest in helping people achieve their financial goals
  • Detail-oriented, accountable, and team-focused
  • Previous experience in financial services or lending is a plus
Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Member Experience Associate [Teller]

Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Job Type: Regular Full-Time
Department: Member Experience

About the Role
As a Member Experience Associate, you’ll play a key role in helping our members manage their finances with confidence. This is a front-line position focused on service and building strong financial relationships. In addition to the front-line duties and when time allows, you may be asked to assist other departments with certain projects or tasks, growing your overall credit union knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver friendly, professional service to all members and support your team with a positive attitude
  • Help members understand and use our full range of credit union products and services
  • Handle everyday transactions like deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, while verifying IDs and ensuring accuracy
  • Review and process check deposits, apply funds availability rules, and issue hold notices as needed
  • Answer common questions about accounts, interest rates, fees, and transaction history—always protecting member privacy
  • Issue cashier’s checks, personal money orders, and cash out U.S. Savings Bond
  • Accept loan payments, verify payment details, and provide receipts
  • Maintain your cash drawer accurately, buy and sell cash from the vault when needed, and stay within cash limits
  • Make sure your teller station is well-stocked and organized
  • Direct members to other departments when questions go beyond the teller line
  • Recommend additional credit union services when they fit the member’s needs
  • Assist with daily support tasks like scanning, filing, verifications, and returned mail
