About the Scholarship

The Tom J. Case Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the legacy of longtime Credit Union One Board Member Tom J Case, whose commitment to community, education, and opportunity continues to inspire. This annual scholarship supports future leaders who embody Tom’s legacy of leadership, integrity, and commitment to making a difference in their communities and beyond.

The TJC Scholarship Program awards two $1,500 each year to students who embody purpose, passion, and a drive to make a positive impact.

How to Apply

To be considered for the scholarship, you must maintain your membership with Credit Union One in good standing1 throughout the scholarship cycle2, be enrolled as a full time student3 at an accredited institution4. The Scholarship Application and all supporting documents are available for download below. Once you have completed all requirements, submit your scholarship packet using one of the methods below.

Disbursement

Scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to the recipient’s educational institution upon receipt of the completed Scholarship Disbursement Request (SDR) Form, which will be provided to the recipients upon selection.

Disqualification Notice

Applicants may be disqualified if they fail to meet eligibility requirements, submit false, plagiarised, or incomplete information, or for any other reasons as decided by the TJC Scholarship Committee. The Committee is not required to notify disqualified candidates of its decision. 

Credit Union One of Oklahoma reserves the right to verify all eligibility criteria.

1.For the purposes of this scholarship, a member in good standing is defined as a member of Credit Union One of Oklahoma who has no delinquent loans or negative account balances, has not caused the credit union a financial loss, and is not subject to any legal or administrative restrictions on their account. 2. The Scholarship Cycle begins September 1, 2025 and ends March 31,2025. 3. Full time is defined as at least 12 credit hours per semester for college and university, or as otherwise classified by the institution. 4. Educational Institution must be listed on the Oklahoma Career Tech’s Accredited Oklahoma Technology Centers list found here: Oklahoma Career Tech Accreditation List.
